Celebrating students from BA Hons of London College of Fashion graduating the year of 2012. I particularly liked the interactive atmosphere in the factory, given to life with high standards and professionalism of product designs in both footwear, jewellery and designer clothing. Looking at the quality and functionality of these products, I can imagine them manufactured and seen from a marketing point of view. Fashion and business, quality and exclusivity, who knows what will be next for these designers. Featuring photos from my favourite designs in footwear, relating to the whole concept of Architecture. The construction through tectonic forms of the materiality, regardless of the average human weight should be held by the foundations, such like a heel made of a singular heel pole that looks impossible to walk in, but for practicality reasons does it work?  Taking into consideration of Shoe designs, is it most comfortable, practical and structural? Vintage, Tea & Fashion

Artist Singer VV Brown & Alexis Knox Celebrity Stylist
Sharing my perspective on Vintage, I entered a competition by Jennifer @stylecrusader. Located in the centre of Brick lane, the home of vintage, styles and bargains, the venue was at Brickhouse. A tea party with a difference, I instantly thought PG Tips and scones. But infact, fresh flavours of passionfruit tea & rum, floral teas and martini's were the kinds beverages. What better to promote VVVintage by VV Brown herself than the home of vintage Bricklane. Buzzing with atmosphere, not forgetting the great service with drinks and cakes cakes cakes. Thanks to Just my cup of Tea, I managed to try my first macaroon that everyone has been posting about. Hosted by VV Brown and Alexis Knox, they share their knowledge and input turning vintage into modern tweeks and twists to revamp your old into new. Thanks for a difference to my sunday evening, I enjoyed myself very much. I shall share Alexis's pin tuck roll method in my next posts to come, turning your slim fit to skinny fit. Also leading to my next lookbook post!

[LB] Vintage Symmetry

[Boots] Hudsons [Trousers] Monki Confessions [Shirt] Vintage [Coat] Vintage [Glasses] Vintage
Credits to Juliana for the photos!
Notice how most of your clothing is symmetrically designed? Duplicating and reversing the photos horizontally gives entirely a perspective abstract effect to your photos. This is my theme for today's look, the vintage coat is contradicting to this, what is symmetrical, I decided to style the long vintage coat by overlapping the fabrics which adds to the asymmetric double breasted style. I have always been looking for a Beige jacket, and it was a surprise to pick it up for such a bargain.  Adjustable by the waist to give the silhouette as if it was altered.

Here is what I wore whilst shopping at Bricklane, the place of vintage clothes. I've been dying to share this coat as it is my most favourite winter coat. I have also matched my look with darker toned skinny fitted trousers matching the coat, black boots and a unique vintage monochrome printed shirt. High street prints are mass produced products, therefore finding this one off is what made me purchase my first every printed shirt. The last thing you want is seeing someone having the same clothes.

[LSF] Jimmy Q

It's no doubt Jimmy stands out from the crowd. I managed to see him again (as seen here), this time he finished the Pringle of Scotland Show at London's Mens Collection. His style is always captivating, being a well known skater from LA and also a tattoo artists, it just adds to the whole charismatic style to him. His style for today is Vintage, from the detailed tailoring to 1910's Circa Safari Sunglasses, the double strap braces. He pulls off the 19th Century style very well, now thats a true artist.

[LFS] Dali Liu

[Shoes] Creepers [Leopard Jacket] Vintage [White shirt] Religion [Black Top] COS [Leggins] Taiwan
I noticed Dali's unique style, as she managed to pull off leopard print with sophistication. The choice of layering and panels of black on white, overlayed with the leopard vintage vest was an extra nice touch to her outfit. She studies at University of Arts London, and says her choice of style is combining both new items with vintage. The sheer arm segment and the length of the unique black top challenges the proportion to the shirt. Complimenting these colours, she wears these pointed monochrome creepers.

[LSF] Select & Elite

[Shoes] Jeffery Campbell [Skirt] American Apparel [Bag] Vintage [Top] Mink Pink [Jewellery] Vintage
When it comes to Modelling, the top Agencies want the best for themselves, clients and models. I spotted the couple Alfie Snow (Elite London) & Jessie Dunne (Select Models) walking the street's with effortless style. Jessie combines both vintage with high street designers, simplistic yet effect in the way she styled herself. The high waisted sheer black dress elongating her legs, combined with a velvet textured floral top, and belted by the waist giving her petite figure silhouette.

Prada Brogue Shoes
Here is just some of my favourite Street Style snaps from Sunday at London Men's Collections. It's all in the detail, designer brands and style, you just don't know when your being snapped.

Baartmans & Siegel S/S13

I attended the Baartmans & Siegel Spring/Summer 2013 collection presentation at London Men's Collection. Reptile detailed scale prints and cool cucumber tones is what you can expect from the next years collection. Every style of clothing in this range of men's designs is targeted at the everyday occasion wear from tracksuit bottoms to vests, blazers. etc. My favourite pieces are the textured items such as the crocodile leather bag, defined scale print on the trousers and the white pattern laced shirt.
