[LB] Vintage Symmetry

Notice how most of your clothing is symmetrically designed? Duplicating and reversing the photos horizontally gives entirely a perspective abstract effect to your photos. This is my theme for today's look, the vintage coat is contradicting to this, what is symmetrical, I decided to style the long vintage coat by overlapping the fabrics which adds to the asymmetric double breasted style. I have always been looking for a Beige jacket, and it was a surprise to pick it up for such a bargain.  Adjustable by the waist to give the silhouette as if it was altered.

Here is what I wore whilst shopping at Bricklane, the place of vintage clothes. I've been dying to share this coat as it is my most favourite winter coat. I have also matched my look with darker toned skinny fitted trousers matching the coat, black boots and a unique vintage monochrome printed shirt. High street prints are mass produced products, therefore finding this one off is what made me purchase my first every printed shirt. The last thing you want is seeing someone having the same clothes.

  1. Great styling! Love finding those pieces that no one else has. And I'm totally with you - why look like everyone else? Oh and Brick Lane is awesome - I miss London!!
