DIY Diesel

I had two pairs of Diesel Industry Flare Jeans from the 1990's, a style I will never go wearing.  Having thought of the idea of using Brown Shoe Wax, for some odd reason, for its oily, colour and rather experimental technique, I went ahead with it. After all its just diesel jeans, what was there to lose... luckily I had two just incase. 

I love the raw denim, but I've been drawn towards burgundy tones.

Who would have known till you tried? The brown gave off this burgundy tone, add a bit of dark black for that extra shadowed effect.  A technique never seen before, so you know I was the first to try this. Although I must say, its messy, with toxic fumes and washing has not been tested.

Giving it a 21st twist, cutting, sowing and turning them into shorts for the summer. It was perfect for my holiday, whereI got these shoe polishes for 60p! Although I managed to use about 3-4 polishes on these shorts alone. It has surely shown to be a hit. The richness of purple shadowing tones against the burgundy browns. Left to dry in the sun, for the oil to really absorb its tones into the jeans.
